No 30 Squadron (Rhinos) is a fighter squadron and is equipped with Su-30MKI and based at Lohegaon Air Force Station as part of South Western Air Command. The Squadron was a part of both the Indo-Pakistan Wars of 1965 and 1971. The Squadron was awarded the Presidential standards on 10 November 2016. The squadron’s crest comprises of a `RHINO’, the name by which the Units is called.
