A Compass Rose or Wind Rose is a figure of a compass, map or chart used to display the orientation of the cardinal directions. It is one of the truest and perfect symbols of the Universe. In the present times, a form of compass rose is found on, or featured in, almost all navigation systems, including nautical charts, NDB, VOR, GPS and similar equipment.
