Vŕkā or वृक is the Sanskrit word for a Wolf. A Vŕkā or a Wolf by nature is a gentle and loving animal, but when it comes to matters regarding his pack, he can be the most powerful and relentless of them. A Vŕkā alone might not be the strongest of predators, but when united with others just like him, the pack can take down even a mammoth.

We at Vŕkā believe that the freedom and democracy that our great country enjoys is built and maintained by those who are guarding our borders on land, in air and in the sea. These faceless gallant men and women who are awake at night so that we may sleep peacefully, often go unrecognised. So, all of us here at Vŕkā, would like to take this moment to thank these brave and courageous Men & Women in Uniform for their selfless service to the Nation and its Countrymen.
