Rohini Radar is a medium-range high-resolution 3D surveillance radar. The radar was designed by LRDE, and is produced by a joint venture between BEL, Larsen & Toubro, Astra Microwave and Entec. Rohini Radar has a surveillance range more than 200 km covering an elevation of 18 km in height. Rohini also boasts High Altitude and Fast Deployability making it a Transportable Radar in the true sense. The Rohini radar is mounted on a modified TATRA heavy truck and supported by a mobile auxiliary power unit.
